Spatter glass is produced by rolling hot blown glass over small pieces or chips of coloured glass.
Some refer to this as “End of Day” glass, when workers were given permission to use up the shards of colourful glass at the end of the day to make anything they wanted. Some were sold and some were simply taken home to be enjoyed.
This stunning example really has the wow-factor, with it’s colourful design and comes with its original metal flower frog and is most likely by Kralik.
