Made in the 1960s from Empoli pressed glass, this decorative ‘genie bottle’ decanter is a really striking piece that would look great on a shelf or window sill with light behind it to catch the pleasing shape and amberina coloured glass with thumbprint/giraffe texture.
Produced mid-century in Italy, these were originally used as wine decanters. This has the stopper intact along with an air-tight plastic bung so can still be used for this purpose. The stopper is two-tone colour: amberina and red.
