Made in the 1960s from Empoli pressed glass, this decorative ‘genie bottle’ decanter is a really striking piece that would look great on a shelf or window sill with light behind it to catch the pleasing shape and green glass with harlequin texture. This example has a stopper with an air-tight plastic bung so could be used to hold liquid.
Produced mid-century in Italy, these were originally used as wine decanters and this example has the stopper and bung still intact.
