Made in the 1960s from Empoli pressed glass, this decorative ‘genie bottle’ decanter is a really striking piece that would look great on a shelf or window sill with light behind it to catch the pleasing shape and blue glass with raised rectangular pattern.
Produced mid-century in Italy, these were originally used as wine decanters. This example has its original stopper entact which sits in the bottle but doesn’t provide an air-tight seal.
